Calling all fans of optical illusions! Come and prepare for your brain to be fooled. Dr. Tadin will show you objects that disappear before your eyes, things which are not actually there, and colors that appear out of nowhere. Best of all, you will learn the scientific secrets behind this visual trickery.
Saturday, April 18: 12-2pm
Have you ever wondered what DNA looks and feels like? This short experiment will allow you to extract DNA from a very tasty source, strawberries! All living organisms use DNA as a blueprint to develop their characteristics. DNA is so important that you have DNA in almost each one of your cells! Scientists use DNA to study genes and to learn more about diseases.
