Rochester, NY — More than 175 exhibitors of original art and fine, hand-made crafts will fill the museum galleries and Eisenhart Auditorium at the Rochester Museum & Science Center when the RMSC Women's Council presents their 39th annual Holiday Bazaar Arts & Crafts Sale on:
Friday, November 20 5:00pm–9:00pm
Saturday, November 21 9:30am–5:00pm
Sunday, November 22 11:00am–4:00pm
Admission is $4 for one day, $7 for a two-day pass, and free for children age 12 and under. On Friday evening from 5pm to 7pm, RMSC Member admission is just $2. Proceeds from this major annual fundraiser benefit the Rochester Museum & Science Center.
NOTE: While regular museum exhibits will be unavailable, Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition will remain open. Admission to this exhibition plus the Bazaar is $11 ($9 for RMSC members).
Shoppers and browsers will find thousands of beautiful, unusual items for holiday gifts and decor, including ceramics, jewelry, glass, woodwork, photography, painting, printmaking, sculpture, fiber arts, floral crafts, and more—plus a free raffle, door prizes, and a used book sale. Food and beverages will be served at the Cunningham House Café, located in the former studio of Rochester artist Kathleen Cunningham, who donated her home to the RMSC. Now part of the science center campus, the building houses administrative offices and is not usually open to the public.
Rochester Museum & Science Center (RMSC) receives major funding from Monroe County. RMSC includes a planetarium, nature center and science/regional history museum. The mission of the RMSC is to stimulate broad community interest and understanding of science and technology, and their impact—past, present, future—on our lives.
