Where Can We Go?
Reservations are required for all programs, including self-guided visits to exhibits, in order to ensure that all visitors have the best experience possible.
Please visit reserved exhibits and programs only.
When Can We Come to the Museum and/or Strasenburgh Planetarium?
Mondays are for Self-Guided tours of the Museum Exhibitions only.
Tuesdays – Fridays: All programs and exhibits are open.

What about lunch?
You can bring your lunch or buy it (option to buy lunch not available at Cumming Nature Center). We'll provide a place for your group to eat lunch at no extra charge…but be sure to schedule this when you call!

What about chaperones?
Make reservations for as many chaperones as you want. We recommend at least one chaperone for every 10 students. For every 5 students, 1 adult is admitted free. Additional adults pay the student rate. (Different rules apply for School Camp-Ins and Intermediate Science Discovery Day .
Chaperones are required to remain with their groups and are responsible for appropriate behavior of all students. Groups exhibiting inappropriate behavior may be asked to leave.

How can I make the most of our visit?
Visit the RMSC before your visit to preview exhibits and shows at no charge.Use our curriculum materials to plan and to extend the learning before and after the visit.
