Focus on Frogs II

Saturday, Feb. 27, 8-11 a.m.
Grades K-5 | Registration: $30

"Frogs: A Chorus of Colors" is a wonderful way to support all elementary grade levels, especially Grade 3 ELA Module 2A. Back by popular demand, the educator's session includes an exclusive opportunity to view the exhibition, to learn about native frogs, brainstorm curriculum connections and learn classroom activities.


Focus on Frogs

Saturday, Oct. 17, 8-11 a.m.
Grades K-5 | Registration: $30

Professional development session with two field trips for the price of one. This is a wonderful way to support all elementary grade levels, especially Grade 3 ELA Module 2A. The educator's session includes an exclusive opportunity to view the new Frogs: A Chorus of Colors exhibition, to learn about native frogs, brainstorm curriculum connections and learn classroom activities.

The field trips include:

(1) Fall Field Trip to the Museum ($6 per student):

See Frogs: A Chorus of Colors to discover fascinating living frogs, each adapted ingeniously for survival in locations around the world. Observe a large collection of rare and unusual frogs up close and in seldom-seen detail.

(2) Spring Field Trip to the Cumming Nature Center (FREE):

A fun and dirty adventure investigating the native frogs of our local environment, their life cycles, calls and habitats.


Engineering Design: Elementary Level

Saturday, Oct. 24 at 8 a.m.- 12 p.m.

Join us for engineering design programs, informed by the NGSS, designed to help you to adapt and broaden your STEM lesson elements and teaching models on the elementary level to include Engineering Design with confidence.

Saturday, Nov. 14 at 8 a.m.- 12 p.m.
