Is It Local?

Get up close and personal with some amazing animals! The Is It Local? exhibit offers visitors a chance learn about different species. Most of the species on display are local to this area, but a few of them never lived here or moved away thousands of years ago. Visitors can explore each species’ relationship to the local landscape using the hands-on “Local or Not?” interactives.
