Virtual Experience Streamed Live from the Cumming Nature Center

Discover the natural history of field journaling and what value a field journal can have for individuals and citizen science. Learn different methods of recording--from lists to study sketches. After a presentation, students will practice observation skills, share curiosity, and get creative. Teachers can then use the methods explained to continue field journaling with their students throughout the year.

*Copies of CNC Field Journals available at an additional cost of $90 for 30 journals, plus postage

Format:
RMSC sends Zoom link to the teacher. The teacher co-hosts Zoom and manages the participants.

Requirements:
Computer or Smart Device to connect to internet, Zoom, webcam & microphone; Projector and external speakers needed in the classroom.
