Scale of the Universe

Grades 9-12 | Expanding our view by powers of ten, we survey the universe from human scale to the limit of the observable universe, 100 to 1026 meters. Visualizations based on real NASA data.

The Planetarium’s Digistar visualization system creates an inspiring, immersive experience that can’t be conveyed on a flat screen. We begin at human scale, then we expand our view by powers of ten from 100^0 to 10^26 meters, surveying the universe out to the observable limit. Visualizations based on real NASA data.

Seating capacity may be limited in compliance with public health guidelines in effect on the day of your visit. Maximum capacity includes all students, teachers, aides, chaperones, parents, and siblings.
