We prepare for the solar eclipses that are coming soon to western New York: a partial eclipse on October 14, 2023, and a total eclipse on April 8, 2024. Get the outer-space view of what makes an eclipse, review the solar eclipse of 2017, learn where you must be to get the best views in 2023 and 2024, and what to watch for. Content can be adapted to the needs of your class; teachers are invited to email Planetarium Director Steve Fentress at for more information.

**Seating capacity may be limited in compliance with public health guidelines in effect on the day of your visit. Maximum capacity includes all students, teachers, aides, chaperones, parents, and siblings.
