Climate and Our Changing Forest

Climate and Our Changing Forest

Discover the dynamics of interconnected forests, fungi networks and the woods wide web! Create a dendrochronology analysis of weather patterns over time. Explore how a changing climate affects flora and fauna, and collect data valuable to citizen science projects.

Climate change is an urgent, and often misunderstood, environmental challenge. Climate and Our Changing Forest explores the role that scientific investigation and data collection plays in our understanding of climate science. Hand’s-on citizen science projects allow students to contribute to a wide body of scientific knowledge while learning about and participating in regional initiatives to combat the impacts of climate change.
