Beaver Ecology - Virtual

Beaver Ecology - Virtual

Virtual Experience Streamed Live from the Cumming Nature Center

Discover the adaptations, natural and cultural history of beavers in North America through an interactive online visit. View past and present beaver sites to gain insight into communities, succession, food webs, and human influences. Students develop and model engineered dams that control stormwater and benefit wetlands and share their results through pictures or virtual tours.

**Note that the virtual program will require teachers to obtain a few items for the engineering portion of the program**

RMSC sends Zoom link to the teacher. The teacher co-hosts Zoom and manages the participants.
