Amazon Free Afternoons
RMSC invites neighbors from across the region to explore, experiment, and imagine with a robust lineup of interactive programming across all three campuses free of charge.

Come enjoy a free afternoon (noon-5pm) on the first Wednesday of every month. Whether you want to test prototypes, experiment with lasers, watch The Sky Tonight or discover local natural history, a visit to any RMSC location will inspire curiosity for a lifetime!
STEM activities include:
- Museum & Science Center: Live demonstrations, Electricity Theater, and hands-on STEM encounters.
- Strasenburgh Planetarium: Captivating star and laser shows. Star theater has a max capacity of 140 people.
- Cumming Nature Center: Scenic nature hikes and outdoor exploration.

Star and Laser Shows
Free planetarium shows run during Amazon Free Afternoons! Any time after 12pm on the day of the event, you can get FREE tickets to reserve your seat. The Star Theater has a maximum capacity of 140, and seating is first-come, first-served, so please plan accordingly.
