about the workshop

Learn the how and why of composting in this family-friendly workshop. Instructor Victoria Barnsbee will share why it is good to compost, different ways to compost, and how to go about doing it.  You may even get to meet a few worms!

Children are welcome to attend if accompanied by an adult.


about your instructor

Victoria Barnsbee has been an Ontario County Master Gardener for the past 9 years. She is a retired Earth Science teacher who has taught classes on growing herbs, planting pollinator pots, pizza gardens, and invasive species recognition, as well as many composting classes! 

She is passionate about planting native plants on the 17 acres surrounding her home.
