The Enchanted Forest
Join us at the RMSC Cumming Nature Center for a family-friendly, not-so-scary night hike on Saturday, October 24 to celebrate Halloween!

ABOUT THE EVENT
The nocturnal forest is full of mystery, and the more you know about the night, the less frightful and more wondrous it becomes! Join us for a family-friendly, not-so-scary night hike on Saturday, October 24 to celebrate Halloween. Visitors will walk a half-mile loop through our twinkle-light illuminated pines, where they will meet a delightful cast of characters and delve into the secrets of nocturnal life.
Cider and donuts will be available for purchase back at the Nature Center. We will have red cellophane available to cover flashlight bulbs.
Doors open for check-in starting at 5:00pm. Please note that the 5:30pm-6pm timeframe is typically best for younger kiddos and folks who aren’t totally comfortable with the dark. As it gets later it will get darker out on the trail since sunset is at 6:16pm!
Note: Those who bring a carved pumpkin in the days leading up to the event (by 4pm on Friday, October 23rd) will receive a free ticket!
