Tattoos Under the Stars is back! This fall, we’ll be collaborating with Rochester’s Cursed & Crafted Oddities Bizarre to create a truly unique tattoo and shopping experience.
Get a science, math, or Rochester flash tattoo in our star theater (18+). Buy from artisans, crafters, and creators of the curious and the uncanny, from taxidermy, bones, and insect specimens to arcane art, wicked jewelry, and occult-inspired home goods
Tattoos will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Your admission does not guarantee a tattoo time slot.
Tattoo Tips:
- All tattoo appointment slots are first come first serve.
- Make sure you have eaten full meals & stayed hydrated on the day of.
- Each artist will have a sign-up sheet and all of their available flash at their booth.
- Please only sign-up for one flash design per artist to allow more visitors a chance to participate.
- If you sign up with more than one artist, please be conscious of timing. If you are still being tattooed at one booth when your next artist is ready for you, you will be moved to the end of their wait list.
- Budget for a flash piece tattoo like you normally would; flash pieces will be 3″ or smaller and monochromatic. Artists will not be doing individual requests. Limb placement only.
- Tattooers will be available from 10am-4pm, with last appointments in the chair at 3:30pm.
- If you arrive to your appointment under the influence, you will not be tattooed.
- You must be 18yrs old with a valid form of ID to be tattooed in New York State.
- A digital liability and consent form must be completed before your appointment begins.

Axe of Kindness was born of a love of tattooing and the immense desire to answer a call from within to do more to support the underprivileged, underserved, and those in need of help in our community.
We aim to create exceptional and lasting tattoo work and use this art as a way to embody the positive change we would like to see in our community and the world at large.
We donate a minimum of 10% from every commission (merch, artwork, or tattoo) to numerous charities and causes, both locally and nationwide.
