Volunteer OPPORTUNITIES
Families and individuals come join us (for free) to participate in a small volunteer project! Most projects last two hours and have a role for everyone from a young kiddo to an experienced adult.
volunteer SERIES
Volunteer Series projects have ranged from building bridges to preparing trees for maple sugar season to helping out during the Nature Center’s events! Most projects will be adaptable for younger kiddos to participate as well, but any different age restrictions/recommendations will be listed below.
Those who sign up and participate in a Volunteer Series project will receive free admission to the Nature Center for that day!
These projects will allow you to:
- Feel great by making a positive difference in your community
- Complete a few extra volunteer/community service hours for school
- Help us to improve our favorite local Nature Center
- Meet new people and learn new skills
- Visit the Nature Center on a budget (for free!)
Ways you can help:
- Hanging flyers for upcoming events
- Photographing events
- Be part of our BioBlitz and collect data to help us understand what plants, animals, and other species can be found at the nature center
- More opportunities coming soon!
