About your instructors
Robyn Paige
For Robyn, yoga is all about connection, whether it be to the physical body, the community, nature, or to a deeper level of self-discovery. After moving home to ROC from NYC in 2014, Robyn took her first class and was instantly blown away by the mental shifts on top of the physical benefits. As a teacher, she finds pure joy in holding space for others to practice in a way that makes them feel FREE, both on and off the mat. Robyn is an ERYT 200, RYT 500 in addition to being a Reiki Master Teacher. Out of the studio, you can find her dancing to EDM, planning yoga retreats and dipping her toes into any body of water she can find!

Brett Richardson
Brett is an experienced RYT 200/ RYT 500 trained yoga instructor with over 2,500 teaching hours! His certifications are in Vinyasa, Restorative, Yin, Hikyoga, yoga for athletes, yoga for 12-step recovery, trauma, meditation, and energy healing. Through teaching various classes, he gained a love and passion for myofascial and trigger point therapy. He has taught at the NYS Yoga Festivals and is also a Lululemon Legacy Ambassador.

the winter solstice:

- The Winter Solstice is the longest night & shortest day of the year, celebrated globally with rituals and festivals.
- The Winter Solstice occurs twice each year–once in the Northern Hemisphere, and once in the Southern Hemisphere.
- What’s going on during the solstice? One of the Earth’s poles has reached its maximum tilt away from the sun. This results in the shortest period of sunlight experienced during a calendar year!
