Bruce Zaretsky is a chemist by education, a garden designer by profession, and loves everything science and art. His exhibit will inspire the artist in everyone and inspire change in our world. Come explore his two bodies of work, Natural Impressions and Beautiful Extinction.

Some of Bruce’s Natural Impressions pieces were influenced by our Red Pine ‘cathedral’, winter Gnome Roam trail, and beavers here at the nature center. He used leaves, twigs, pine needles, berries, and more to create these colorful and lively paintings. In Beautiful Extinction, Bruce’s work includes art that addresses wildfires, animal threats, extinction, climate change, air quality, and more. This summer, explore the stunning and impressive exhibit by Bruce Zaretsky Art!

This exhibit will be on display in the Hurst Gallery April 17 through August 16, 2024.
