Explore the paths of storms, changes in ocean temperature or the surface of Mars with our permanent exhibit, Science On a Sphere® (SOS).

Science On a Sphere is an interactive globe and three-dimensional data projection system that transforms real-time data from our Earth and other planets into striking graphic representations with stunning detail and accuracy. It is the focal point of the RMSC’s Data Theater, the re-invented Schuyler C. Townson Research Library reading room, where geographical tools and other artifacts will be featured as the exhibit progresses.

Check it out now on the museum’s second floor.

FACILITATED PRESENTATIONS

For facilitated presentation are offered weekends and school breaks. See the Science Alive schedule for additional interactive presentations.

THANK YOU TO OUR SPONSORS!

Science On a Sphere is sponsored by O’Connell Electric Company and Harris Beach PLLC.
