Immerse yourself in learning about Hodinöšyö:nih culture (both past and present) in the RMSC’s newest permanent exhibition. You’ll pass through a glass longhouse, contemplate contemporary Hodinöšyö:nih artists’ works, and leave with a better understanding of the people who have belonged to this land for many centuries.
At The Western Door
This exhibit tells the story of more than 400 years of cooperation and conflict between Western New York’s native Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) inhabitants and the Europeans who came here as explorers, traders, and eventually, settlers.
