Starting October 13, 2023 through May 19, 2024 prices will temporarily increase by $2 per ticket. Sash the sloth and his friends need a lot of extra care and snacks, including a turndown service each night. museums for all $3 admission
The RMSC is a participating museum of Museums for All, a signature access program of the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS).
Those receiving food assistance (SNAP) benefits may visit the Museum & Science Center at a reduced admission rate of $3 per person, up to four people, with the presentation of a SNAP Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card. This offer is not valid at the RMSC Strasenburgh Planetarium or RMSC Cumming Nature Center.

Blue Star museums $3 discount
The RMSC offers a $3 discount year-round to both active military and veterans.
Through Blue Star Museums: from Armed Forces Day in May to Labor Day in September, we provide free admission to active-duty military including Army, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, marines, National Guard, and Reserve members, with up to five family members. Please bring your Geneva convention common access card (CAC), a DD Form 1173 card (dependent ID), or a DD Form 1173-1 ID card to show to our Welcome Center team upon arrival.
Blue Star Museums is a collaboration among the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, The Department of Defense, and more than 2,000 museums across America.

This offer is valid for cardholders only, guests are not eligible for free admission. This offer includes free admission to the RMSC Museum & Science Center and Star Shows at the Strasenburgh Planetarium.

Group reservations admit your group at a discounted rate of $10/person.
This ticket is for Museum & Science Center general admission only. You must have 10 or more people in your party to be considered a group. Additional charge(s) may apply for special exhibitions or programs.

Covid Safety
Your safety is our top priority. See below to learn about our COVID policies and procedures to create a safe space for all.
What weโre doing to keep you safe
- Reservations are not required for members or visitors, but visitors are encouraged to purchase advanced tickets online. Onsite ticket purchases will also be accepted. RMSC Members can simply show their membership card when they arrive as normal.
- Providing substantial access to hand sanitizer and encouraging hand washing often.
- Increasing cleaning and disinfecting throughout our facility.

What weโre asking our visitors to do
- Stay home if you are not feeling well.
- Purchase tickets in advance before you visit.
- Wash your hands often, for at least 20 seconds.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth, and be sure to cough/sneeze into your elbow.
- Stay with your party when walking through the Museum & Science Center, and keep children within reach at all times.
- Please be patient โ donโt crowd around exhibits. Practice social distancing and remain 6 feet away from others not in your party.
RMSC Cleaning and Sanitation Standards
- We have worked diligently to ensure a safe environment for all who come through our doors. We will continue to rely on guidance from the CDC, New York State Department of Health, and Monroe County Health Department to make operational decisions and adjustments as necessary.
- RMSC custodial staff is on-site before, during, and after the Museum & Science Center, Nature Center, and Planetarium operating hours to sanitize and clean the restrooms, cafe, common areas, and exhibit galleries.
- Staff are frequently cleaning and disinfecting commonly touched surfaces and highly interactive and hands-on surfaces.
- The Star Theater chairs, railings and other high touch areas will be disinfected after every show.
- Multiple hand sanitizer stations are available throughout the Museum & Science Center, Planetarium, and Nature Center.
- Staff and volunteers are required to frequently wash their hands and to not come to work if they are sick or have a fever.
