MEDIA ALERT: RMSC SoundSense Concert Series continues March 21 with Bitter Bells

WHAT:

As part of its SoundSense exhibit and extended Thursday hours, Rochester Museum & Science Center (RMSC) is hosting a concert series featuring local artists that will bring the science of sound to life. Concerts are free with regular admission ($13–$15; free to RMSC members) and attendees receive one free child’s admission with paid adult admission for a future visit. Event support thanks to the Rochester Music Hall of Fame.

 

WHO:

This month we’re welcoming Bitter Bells, an Americana band from Rochester that features the harmonies and storytelling of life and music partners Ben and Rita Proctor, also of The Crooked North. A mix of country, rock, and bluegrass, Bitter Bells draws on many influences for their original songs along with traditional and deep cuts from their favorite songwriters. Backed by banjos and guitars, they look for new ways to engage audiences in the great story of American music.

Science Museum hours 11am–8pm; attendees may enjoy Museum exploration before the concert
