Adults Get Ready for Take-off into RMSC After Dark: Intergalactic

ROCHESTER, NY—Guests 21-and-older are invited to rocket on over to the party of the summer coming in for a landing at the Rochester Museum & Science Center—RMSC After Dark: Intergalactic. The stellar bash full of space science and out-of-this world entertainment takes place from 7pm through 11pm Friday, July 22 at the Museum, Strasenburgh Planetarium and outdoors.

    Guests have the opportunity to:

    • Enter a whole new galaxy with star and laser shows at the Strasenburgh Planetarium.

    • Orbit the illuminated outdoor areas and listen to the music of live band Bold Acquaintance.
    • Channel your inner grade-school student and place the planets in our solar system in order and then make your own mini planetarium to take home.
    • Get a sneak peek at our fall exhibition, Elements of the Extreme, with “The Unseen Sun” and other cool interactive activities.
    • Discover how 3-D printing works (watch it make mini rockets!).
    • Experience musical lightning in our Electricity Theater.
    • See planets up close in Science On a Sphere.
    • Engage with guests from RocCon! Rochester’s Comic Con and Pop Culture Convention Since 2010.
    • Taste from food trucks Cheesed and Confused, Le Petit Poutine and The Original Mac & Cheez (the moon is made of cheese, isn’t it?).
    • Sip drinks from cash bars.
    • Enter with a big bang in your space-themed costume (encouraged).
