Beginning Monday, November 30, the Rochester Museum & Science Center (RMSC) will be open to the public on Fridays (9:30am-5pm), Saturdays (9:30am-5pm), and Sundays (11am-5pm). The decision follows a number of months with lower than typical visitation due to COVID-19.
The Strasenburgh Planetarium will be adding additional shows, including the popular Holiday Laser Show, with a reduced capacity. You can find the show schedule for Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays by visiting RMSC.org/shows.
The RMSC Curiosity Club will remain open with all safety requirements in place. There is no change to The Cumming Nature Center and its programs.
This reduction in hours will affect all Monday – Thursday public programs, events, and shows at the Museum and Planetarium.
The RMSC looks forward to welcoming visitors during open hours to explore its newest exhibit, The Changemakers: Rochester Women Who Changed the World, and to catch a show at the Strasenburgh Planetarium. Please continue to check RMSC.org and the RMSC social media pages for the latest scheduling information.
