ROCHESTER, NY—The Rochester Museum & Science Center (RMSC) Women’s Council presents its annual Fantastic Findings Garage Sale. A large-scale sale, the Fantastic Findings fundraiser takes place from 9am–4pm on Thursday, September 22, 9am-4pm on Friday, September 23 and 9am–2pm on Saturday, September 24 in the Eisenhart Auditorium on the RMSC campus. Donations are welcome and can be dropped off in the Eisenhart Auditorium between 10am and 3:30pm Monday, September 19 through Wednesday, September 21.
Fantastic Findings features “new to you” treasures as well as a ladies’ boutique. The ladies’ boutique consists of vintage and contemporary fashions to wear as well as décor for the home. The public can donate, browse and buy items such as china, crystal, silver, lamps, jewelry, linens, furniture, art, frames, toys and other fantastic treasures and collectibles. Special items this year include large colorfully painted panels, a crystal chandelier and excellent bookcases. The Women’s Council will not accept donations of sports equipment, TV’s or computers. For clothing, the Women’s Council will only accept specialty and vintage clothing.

The Women’s Council is a volunteer service organization that supports the RMSC with special events and fundraising activities. Founded in 1941, the council is dedicated to providing members with opportunities for educational growth and social interaction.
