MEDIA PHOTO OP: Delorean time machine to fly into RMSC October 2

Rochester Museum & Science Center (RMSC) will begin loading in its new 8,000-square foot exhibition, SciFiTech, by flying a full-scale replica of the iconic Delorean time machine through the Science Museum’s third-floor windows! SciFiTech is an exploration of pop culture’s impact on technology that takes visitors on a fascinating journey from science fiction to 21st-century reality, with pop culture around every corner: in addition to the replica Delorean time machine the exhibit includes a jet pack from Disney™’s The Rocketeer; an Autopia car from Disney™’s Tomorrowland; artistic renderings from visual futurists who created the look of Blade Runner™, Star Wars™, and Alien™; and more.

The Delorean time machine will be craned into position through the Science Museum’s third-floor windows at 10:45am Wednesday, October 2, 2019 (overall load-in will begin at 8am).

Best viewing and camera position will be in front of the RMSC Strasenburgh Planetarium, 657 East Ave., Rochester, N.Y. 14607.
