ROCHESTER, NY— The Rochester Museum & Science Center (RMSC) welcomes Marie D’Alessandro as VP, Finance & Resource Administration. D’Alessandro joins the RMSC to lead several essential processes: financial planning and reporting, co-developing and structuring business planning, and leading growth phases of a multifaceted institution.
An active member of the RMSC’s Executive Team, D’Alessandro is responsible for directing and overseeing the organization’s financial and resource administration; participating in strategic short/long-term institutional planning; providing leadership and guidance to the Executive Team, cross divisional management, and team members regarding financial and operational issues; analyzing, recommending, and implementing policies in support of RMSC’s financial objectives; and serving in corporate officer capacity as Secretary/Treasurer and lead staff liaison to the board Finance Committee.

Prior to joining RMSC, D’Alessandro served at the Director of Finance for Lifespan of Greater Rochester, Inc. and Business Office Director for the Rochester Market of Bryant & Stratton College, where she worked for 15 years in senior management positions. She studied at Excelsior College, earning a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
