“Night at the Museum” Event Features Offbeat Tours at RMSC

ROCHESTER, NY—Community members are invited to get fully cultured at a unique happy hour event at the Rochester Museum & Science Center (RMSC) called Night at the Museum. Guests explore the Museum after hours (without kids!) and have the opportunity to be one of the first to experience a “renegade” tour. Hosted by the RMSC Catalyst Circle, a group of young professionals who raise funds for the RMSC, the event takes place from 5:30–8:30pm on Wednesday, May 10.

At Night at the Museum, guests enjoy snacks and a cash bar while exploring the Museum’s 200-hands on exhibits covering electricity, prehistoric Rochester, optics, Native American life and more, as well as other unique offerings. The new “renegade” tour consists of a small group of guests led by RMSC experts and features the secrets behind exhibits and lesser-known stories of the Rochester area and around the world. The tours start at 6pm and sign-ups are on a first-come, first-served basis at the event.

This event benefits the Rochester Museum & Science Center.

Tickets are $14 and can be purchased at www.rmsc.org or by calling 585.697.1942. This is a 21-and-older event. Must have proof of ID at the door.
