Fantastic Findings is an annual, upscale, next-to-new sale organized by the RMSC Women’s Council to support the RMSC’s mission of sparking curiosity in STEM. The sale specializes in antiques, artwork, and furniture, but organizers promise all kinds of treasures at outstanding prices, including china, elegant glass, silver, lamps, jewelry, linens, toys, doll house/fairy garden accessories, and collectibles. New items will be added daily.
The 2018 Fantastic Findings will also feature high-end items from the estate of antiques appraiser/dealer Louise Creatura, known for her keen eye for beauty and value. A portion of Mrs. Creatura’s vast collection—which includes furniture, doll buggies, china, silver, linen, art, toys, and cards and letters written in the 20s and 30s—will be available at Louise’s Place, located in RMSC’s Cunningham House.
Event organizers accept donations throughout the year and work with Ellie Palmer Associates Estate Sales and Appraisals to stock the sale. Individuals wishing to donate to the Fantastic Findings sale may contact Joan Gaylord, 585.415.2941, to make arrangements.
