ROCHESTER, NY—Community members are invited to gather at the Rochester Museum & Science Center (RMSC) to delight in the ideal pairings of drink and food while exploring the science of why these combinations are spot on. At RMSC Uncorked & On Tap, more than forty local food, craft beer, wine and spirit vendors offer samples of their finest products for guests to taste while enjoying a variety of entertainment. Guests also gain unique insights into the science of wine, beer and spirits. The event takes place from 6pm to 10pm on Friday, April 8.
While enjoying unlimited food and beverage tastings at RMSC Uncorked & On Tap, guests are also invited to attend educational seminars, explore exhibits on all three floors of the RMSC as well as take part in science experiments and other activities. Live music will be performed by Bold Acquaintance, Alphonso Williams and others. Expert food and beverage presenters include Elle Andrews, sommelier and general manager, Flight Wine Bar; Holly Howell, certified wine specialist and sommelier; Andrew Morabito, co-owner, 2foodies Wine & Spirits; and Paul Brock, professor of viticulture at Finger Lakes Community College and co-owner of Silver Thread Vineyard.
RMSC Uncorked & On Tap is a 21 and older event. Must have proof of ID at the door. Tickets are $50 for RMSC members and $60 for the general public. Day-of tickets are $70 and VIP tickets are $75. Each ticket includes a tasting glass and tote bag. Guests also have the opportunity to explore the Frogs: A Chorus of Colors exhibition in its final weekend at RMSC.
