Exhibitors will travel from across New York State, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Illinois, and as far away as North Carolina to participate.

Visitors can expect to find locally made gifts for the holidays while supporting both individual artists and their favorite non-profit. In addition to the sale, food and beverages will be available for purchase in the Cunningham House Studio, an area not usually open to the general public.

    INTERVIEW OPPORTUNITIES FOR ANCHORS:

The RMSC Council and Bazaar vendors will be setting up their displays for this upcoming weekend beginning this Friday morning. Both parties will be available for interviews as early as 8am–5pm. As one of the longest-running fine arts and unique crafts festivals in the Greater Rochester region, this event is a unique opportunity to holiday shop inside of the RMSC. This event attracts thousands of shoppers from the region annually.

Admission to the Holiday Bazaar is $6 per person, but offers a $10 weekend pass at the door, and kids 12 & under are free. Some RMSC Museum & Science Center exhibits may be unavailable during the sale.

The mission of the RMSC is to inspire a better future for all through curiosity, exploration, and participation in science, culture, and the natural world. The RMSC includes the RMSC Museum & Science Center, the RMSC Strasenburgh Planetarium, and the RMSC Cumming Nature Center. Offering experiences at the Museum & Science Center with more than 200 interactive exhibits, the Planetarium with a 65-foot dome screen, and the Nature Center on 900 acres of land, the RMSC stimulates community interest in exploration. In addition, the more than 1.2 million RMSC collection items tell the story of the Rochester Region’s past and present, including its rich history of social and technological innovation. RMSC receives major funding from Monroe County, where it is one of the top five most visited attractions serving children and families.

The RMSC Council is a volunteer service organization that supports all three locations of the RMSC (The Museum & Science Center, the Strasenburgh Planetarium, and the Cumming Nature Center) through annual fundraising events just like this one.
