Terra Rochester–Finger Lakes Regional Science & Engineering Fair

Terra Rochester–Finger Lakes Regional Science & Engineering Fair

Saturday, March 16

Organized by Terra Science & Engineering Fair

"A school science fair is a crucial part of a student's discovering of what was put in them as potential. When they start to discover that, their questions get bigger and they need the next step competition to challenge themselves."

– Mary Eileen Wood, TNRSEF Director

Join students from across the region in competing at this year's Rochester area Terra Science Fair at Rochester Museum & Science Center. What topic sparks your curiosity? Research it, develop an experiment following the scientific method, analyze your results, and present it to judges in March 2019. Through the science fair experience, strengthen hard skills as you explore science concepts and hone soft skills as you practice asking the right questions and communicating your findings with an audience.

Students in grades 6–12 from Chemung, Livingston, Monroe, Ontario, Schuyler, Seneca, Steuven, Wayne, and Yates counties are welcome to participate. Registration opens on Nov. 20, 2018.

Terra Northeast Regional Science and Engineering Fair (TNRSEF) is affiliated with the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair, the world’s largest international pre-college science competition.
