Will You Accept Our Inventor Center Challenge?

7vAg3f2wOur Inventor Center encourages visitors to explore the thrilling process of invention. Your family can learn about a problem, build a prototype, test your results, and share your ideas or inventions with others (not necessarily in that order). Our current Inventor Center challenge is Mountain Rescue! Work together to build a vehicle that can climb over hills and carry supplies to vacationers trapped in the mountain pass. Find your vehicle's center of gravity, experiment with friction, and test out your design on our mock-mountain ramps to see if it will pass the test.

Inventor Center is open daily from 10am–4:30pm and is free with Museum admission.
