In collaboration with QuinTed, a brass quintet at Eastman School of Music, the RMSC Strasenburgh Planetarium presents a live performance & immersive experience under the full Star Theater dome.

QuinTed is a brass quintet based in Rochester, NY, specializing in interactive and engaging performances for all ages. The group formed in 2022 when students at the Eastman School of Music discovered a shared passion for brass chamber music and community engagement.
QuinTed was recently accepted to perform on the Eastman Honors Chamber Recital and into the Chamber Certificate program. As part of their work on the Chamber Certificate, QuinTed recently received a Mentorship Grant from the Eastman School of Music’s Institute for Music Leadership to commission a piece for brass quintet by fellow Eastman student Nathanael Kumar. This piece, titled “Constellations”, will be premiered at QuinTed’s performance, “Blasting Off with Brass,” at the Strasenburgh Planetarium.
